Christian Busch named new CEO of German Accelerator New York

Palo Alto / New York (July 6 2016)

German Accelerator Tech announces the appointment of Christian Busch as CEO of its operations in New York City.

Dirk Kanngiesser, CEO of the group company German Accelerator is thrilled to have Busch on board. “Christian’s expertise and leadership experience will help us to make GANY even stronger and better, and set new strategic focus areas. We have already established an experienced group of mentors and have firmly established GANY in the New York startup ecosystem. It will be exciting to see Christian’s ideas implemented into our program.”

The former Senior Vice President of Indiegogo will follow James Kollegger, who initially set up the New York operations for German Accelerator Tech. Kollegger will continue to be part of the German Accelerator family as chairman of German Accelerator New York’s advisory board.

Most recently, Christian served as SVP, Head of Marketing at Indiegogo after having worked with the company since 2013. Prior to that, Christian served as SVP Corporate Development and General Manager of Alloy Digital. He also served as General Manager for Takkle, a prominent college recruitment website for high school sports, which was acquired by Alloy Digital. Besides being an active early-stage investor and advisor, Christian serves on the board of Above Average and the board of Pruftechnik.
