Pivoting for Success: Tiramizoo’s Journey from Same-Day Delivery to SaaS in Southeast Asia
German Accelerator helped Tiramizoo overcome hurdles, secure new customers, and refine their expansion strategy.
The Challenge
Before joining German Accelerator, Tiramizoo struggled to scale internationally, realizing they couldn't expand their same-day delivery services overseas. They pivoted to focus on their SaaS solution but faced challenges in building customer confidence and managing time zone differences with limited resources.
How German Accelerator Helped
With guidance from German Accelerator, Tiramizoo made a crucial pivot from offering same-day delivery services to focusing entirely on their software-as-a-service (SaaS) for optimizing last-mile delivery.
This shift facilitated their international expansion, particularly into Southeast Asia, where they needed to adapt to tech-savvy yet traditional logistics markets. Setting up in Singapore posed challenges, especially in building customer confidence in their software’s reliability.
However, German Accelerator helped them connect with potential customers and gather valuable feedback. Starting with one customer in 2016, Tiramizoo gained 12 major B2B clients in Southeast Asia, thanks to continued support from German Accelerator.
“We started with one customer in 2016, and now we have 12 major B2B customers in Southeast Asia alone.”
— Julian Kellermann, Managing Director at Tiramizoo Singapore Pte Ltd
